Thereā€™s a ton that can be said about wellness and self-care in dance music, but also in general. And I want to dive deeper into these topics because I find that they often are presented in quite a shallow and superficial way.

Self-care is a way of valuing yourself - it is not just about taking care of your energy by taking a bubble bath, meditation, or floatation šŸ˜ It goes much further than that.

The depth of my self-care goes beyond me and my person too - Iā€™m passionate about taking care of those around me and on a larger scale, those in the dance music community too.

Itā€™s my mission to change and evolve collective consciousness of the dance music community into a more healthy, positive and inclusive environment for everyone who wants to build a life around their passion for electronic music. ā€Øā€Ø

In this episode, I share my thoughts and insights on:

  • How self-care in dance music is often presented in a superficial way. It does not cater to your specific needs or situation, because nobody knows your soul and what your soul needs better than you,

  • Self-care and your self-care practice evolve and will continue to evolve as you do,

  • I share a quick and easy excercise you can do to tune into if something is a hell yes or a fuck no for you - energetically,

  • How everything in your life is interconnected and I use the example of procrastination in music production to demonstrate this.

If you want to dive deeper into what wellness means to you and if youā€™re curious to learn how I can support you with that, then DM me on Instagram @unicorneline. Iā€™m happy to chat further.
